Hélder Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Norberto Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Paulista in the 29th minute of play forced Argoim's goalkeeper Norberto Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovanni Damião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Caio Lara fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrancas E.C.'s protests and gave Caio Lara a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Carrancas E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Caio Lara. Hélder Vergílio scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norberto Secco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Virgílio Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Argoim's Geovanni Damião sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eriberto Schmidt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Norberto Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Vergílio in the 78th minute of play. Hélder Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Raí de Sena's late challenge caught a Carrancas E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raí de Sena helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Argoim got a freekick which was hit by Raí de Sena. Hélder Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Argoim's Norberto Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Vergílio in the 91st minute of play. Michel Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carrancas E.C.'s Eriberto Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Damião in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Argoim players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carrancas E.C..
