Spectators: 7246 (Terracing: 5436, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Carrancas E.C.'s Michel Paulista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Vergílio got free with Enio Velasco in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enio Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Schmidt came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Esmires Futebol's Jorge Florian. But to his dismay, Jorge Florian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Michel Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Jorge Florian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Inácio Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esmires Futebol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Jorge Florian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Florian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Florian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murillo Passos in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Schmidt saved Carrancas E.C. from getting behind. Vânderson Vale hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Jorge Florian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eriberto Schmidt having to make a save. Enio Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hélder Vergílio in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Jorge Florian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Schmidt. Carrancas E.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Florian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

The wind increased when Jorge Florian made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Vergílio in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enio Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the match, Esmires Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Vergílio came free, but Enio Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Carrancas E.C.'s goalkeeper Eriberto Schmidt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Florian. Jorge Florian charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Florian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Carrancas E.C. booed when Esmires Futebol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Florian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caio Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Jorge Florian didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-3 via right post in the game's 78th minute. Esmires Futebol's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Esmires Futebol's Enio Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Paulista in the 85th minute of play. Hélder Vergílio's late challenge caught a Esmires Futebol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Vergílio helped the player get up and apologised. Hélder Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Esmires Futebol left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Carrancas E.C..
