Spectators: 7207 (Terracing: 5407, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Itau's Elias Eger started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gilberto da Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hílton Rezende's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute Hílton Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Godoi during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Itau's Ramiro Godoi got a free kick in the 8th minute. Iuri da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hílton Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute Iuri da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Armandinho dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Solarestival's Hílton Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Itau's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Rezende came free, but Gilberto da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Douglas Ribeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Antunes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Solarestival's Ricardinho Lara got a free kick in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hílton Rezende to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Solarestival got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Lara. Gilberto da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Alberto Cruz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Itau were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Solarestival's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ernesto Moreno took the corner. If Douglas Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Itau's Douglas Ribeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Antunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Solarestival's Iuri da Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto da Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Iuri da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Gilberto da Rocha made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Itau fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Júlio de Azevedo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 78th minute, Iuri da Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Solarestival fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Enrique Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Eger in the 86th minute of the match. If Elias Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Douglas Ribeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 95 minutes into the match, Itau's Elias Eger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Antunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Douglas Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Enrique Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Solarestival players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
