Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Grêmio FBPA's Natanael Furlan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Umberto Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Furlan in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Natanael Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osmar Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Trancoso in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitório Lara got free with Osmar Vidal in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 played minutes Grêmio FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Ceresso. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio FBPA's zone, Vitório Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmar Vidal came out of the goal and Vitório Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vitório Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Osmar Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dracena AD's Angelo Trancoso in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grêmio FBPA's goalie prevented a goal. Vitório Lara was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Dracena AD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 26th minute Nuno Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Pimenta took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Umberto Lago. Umberto Lago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 31st minute Angelo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Vitório Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Osmar Vidal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Grêmio FBPA's Osmar Vidal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio FBPA from getting a goal against them. Waldemar Ceresso hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Vitório Lara succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 41st playminute. If Vitório Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Trancoso made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Dracena AD's Leopoldo Batista got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute Grêmio FBPA were awarded a corner. Geovanni Andrade went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Grêmio FBPA's corner Carlos Fernando Cardoso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Umberto Lago quite easily take care of the ball. After 56 played minutes Dracena AD got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Lara. If Nuno Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osmar Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 61st minute, Angelo Trancoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dracena AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 75th minute Vitório Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Vitório Lara notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Grêmio FBPA's Osmar Vidal. Osmar Vidal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Grêmio FBPA's Waldemar Ceresso got a free kick in the 78th minute. Umberto Lago acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sílvio Luís Pinho. In the 84th minute, Vitório Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernando Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio FBPA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dracena AD the free kick. The referee gave Dracena AD a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alberto Barbosa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Grêmio FBPA's Osmar Vidal. 5-1. 98 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's Natanael Furlan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Umberto Lago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dracena AD's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
