Doriva Veloso started the match with the kick off. Luís Eduardo Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Doriva Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Doriva Veloso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Bar Sem Lona Society's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Couto in the 16th minute of play forced Mariante AD's goalkeeper Ezequiel Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Almir Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jefferson Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Prestes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agnaldo Paraíba was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Ezequiel Toscano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Almir Couto in the 32nd minute. Almir Couto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ezequiel Toscano made a huge save. After 37 minutes, Nildo Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mariante AD and the Bar Sem Lona Society players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Mariante AD's zone, Patrick do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Toscano came out of the goal and Patrick do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute of the match Tostão Amaral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Toscano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 43 played minutes Mariante AD got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Ribeiro. Doriva Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ezequiel Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

But to his dismay, Waldir Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Mariante AD's Ezequiel Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Veloso in the 60th minute of play. Almir Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ezequiel Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva Veloso in the 68th minute of the match. Almir Couto might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ezequiel Toscano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Almir Couto ran back to his position shaking his head. Ezequiel Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick do Valle in the 80th minute of play. After 93rd play minutes Almir Couto shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Ezequiel Toscano and just under the crossbar into goal.
