Promoon's Ahmed Amri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael Furlan in the 53rd minute of play. Grêmio FBPA were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after A.E. Promoon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geovanni Andrade took the corner. In the 56thth minute of the game Waldemar Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio FBPA's Osmar Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Márcio Cardoso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmed Amri. Márcio Cardoso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. With a little luck, A.E. Promoon's Ahmed Amri got control of the ball when Waldemar Ceresso tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Grêmio FBPA's Ahmed Amri threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Márcio Cardoso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natanael Furlan during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Grêmio FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Furlan to maneuver through the defense.
