If Valdemar das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Manuel Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Carvalho was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Francisco Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Manuel Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Peladeiros's Arthur dos Santos got a free kick in the 29th minute. Manuel Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Tomás Carvalho made a huge save. Manuel Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tomás Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdemar das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Carvalho having to interfere.

The wind increased when Diamantino Monteiro made the kick off in the second half. If Manuel Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar das Neves in the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Manuel Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peladeiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdemar das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tomás Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Valdemar das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Peladeiros were the better team. Peladeiros's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
