After a rather tough play, Rio Negro do Norte's Luiz Gustavo do Vale got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Gustavo do Vale in the 6th minute of play forced E.C. Cotovelo de cobra's goalkeeper Luiz Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Prestes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Gustavo do Vale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Gustavo do Vale kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Prestes. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. After 21 played minutes E.C. Cotovelo de cobra got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Neto. Luiz Gustavo do Vale took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Prestes. Luiz Prestes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Luiz Prestes made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Luiz Gustavo do Vale sent off a good shot on target. After 29 played minutes E.C. Cotovelo de cobra got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Neto. Luiz Prestes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Amadeu Quirino. After 33 minutes E.C. Cotovelo de cobra's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ronaldo Duarte who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Gustavo do Vale got free with Luiz Prestes in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Rio Negro do Norte getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Amadeu Quirino hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

56 minutes into the match, E.C. Cotovelo de cobra's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Pontes came free, but Luiz Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Prestes having to interfere. Douglas Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Duarte in the 69th minute of play. Luiz Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Prestes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Gustavo do Vale went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Gustavo do Vale in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Jânio Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Rio Negro do Norte getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Amadeu Quirino hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Edward Juzda threw the ball into play from the sideline. E.C. Cotovelo de cobra's Didi Salgado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Luiz Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, E.C. The supporters of Rio Negro do Norte booed when E.C. Cotovelo de cobra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind E.C. Cotovelo de cobra's goalkeeper Luiz Prestes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rio Negro do Norte's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
