Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cavaco's Bebeto Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Gerber in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Gerber in the 6th minute of play forced Cavaco's goalkeeper Bebeto Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardinho Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléberson Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Francisco Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 25th minute Juvenal Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Francisco Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Pedrinho Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes of play, Triumfo SS's Bernardinho Maranhense made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bebeto Lucas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Campidelis's late challenge caught a Triumfo SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Campidelis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Cavaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amílton Gerber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Gustavo Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Amílton Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Triumfo SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílton Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amílton Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Francisco Chaves acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wanderson Antunes. Juvenal Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Chaves having to interfere. The supporters of Triumfo SS booed when Cavaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Moisés Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bebeto Lucas came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Triumfo SS's Amílton Gerber. But to his dismay, Amílton Gerber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Bernardinho Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Bernardinho Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Triumfo SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardinho Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bebeto Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Gerber in the 90th minute of play. If Amílton Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Bernardinho Maranhense put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bebeto Lucas. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Triumfo SS fully deserved thier win.
