Christian Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. João Francisco Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílton Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Amílton Gerber made a precise shot to the right of Cacá do Vale. Farinna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Triumfo SS getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cléberson Cerezo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Triumfo SS's zone, Benjamin Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Francisco Chaves came out of the goal and Benjamin Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Farinna's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Maranhense came free, but Cacá do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardinho Maranhense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cacá do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Emanuel Nóbrega charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Nóbrega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emanuel Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Benjamin Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cacá do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Maranhense in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Triumfo SS booed when Farinna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazinho Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The wind increased when Amílton Gerber made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Farinna's goalkeeper Cacá do Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardinho Maranhense. Cacá do Vale made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Bernardinho Maranhense sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th match minute, Triumfo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. Cacá do Vale was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amílton Gerber showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. Emanuel Nóbrega lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Farinna! Tostão Tróia placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Farinna's Christian Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cacá do Vale made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Bernardinho Maranhense sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Denílson Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardinho Maranhense got free with Cacá do Vale in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. João Francisco Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrinho Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Farinna's Cacá do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Farinna from getting a goal against them. It was a well-played corner which Magno Montenegro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 87th minute Amílton Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Fabiano Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Bernardinho Maranhense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Triumfo SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Bernardinho Maranhense struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Cacá do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Triumfo SS. The Farinna supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Triumfo SS's performance. The match ended with a win for Triumfo SS.
