After 52 minutes of play, EC Guará - FPEMZ's Kauã dos Santos made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lauro de Castro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the game, Kauã dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Lauro de Castro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute, delPino F.C.'s Válbson Paulista dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. Vicente Souto's late challenge caught a EC Guará - FPEMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. EC Guará - FPEMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
