Spectators: 7367 (Terracing: 5526, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Fontes kicked off to start the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 5th minute, when delPino F.C.'s Romário Freitas after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Jefferson Santos in Brasilia's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Betinho Sampaio during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Sampaio in the 23rd minute of play forced delPino F.C.'s goalkeeper Lauro de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, delPino F.C.'s Manuel Leão ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jefferson Santos. Jefferson Santos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Válbson Paulista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jefferson Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Manuel Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Carlos Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Válbson Paulista in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jefferson Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Santos having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Válbson Paulista made a kick off. Lauro de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. delPino F.C. were furious when Alberto Amorim was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 55th minute, Alberto Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Giovani Simão in the 56th minute really tested Lauro de Castro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 59th minute, Giovani Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brasilia's Jefferson Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário Freitas in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Leão in the 62nd minute of play forced Brasilia's goalkeeper Jefferson Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldão Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Manuel Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Brasilia's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Silveira came free, but Jefferson Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes Brasilia got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Macedo. The supporters of delPino F.C. booed when Brasilia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovani Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Romário Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the delPino F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romário Freitas couldn't finish the play. Arí Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jefferson Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arí Silveira in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Manuel Leão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jefferson Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Manuel Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot. delPino F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Leão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Francisco Luz hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Fontes in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lauro de Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. delPino F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Brasilia for a fine match.
