Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Umberto Cerezo made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the Brasilia defense, Umberto Cerezo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jefferson Santos. The Brasilia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jefferson Santos should have stopped the shot. Romário Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Diguinho Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Sampaio in the 12th minute of play. Pajeuzinho EC's Glauco Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glauco Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diguinho Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Fontes in the 35th minute of play. Umberto Cerezo scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jefferson Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Betinho Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Brasilia getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Betinho Sampaio hit a great ball. The supporters of Pajeuzinho EC booed when Brasilia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raí Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Pajeuzinho EC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute, Pajeuzinho EC's Umberto Cerezo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jefferson Santos. Jefferson Santos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Cerezo in the 58th minute of play forced Brasilia's goalkeeper Jefferson Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diguinho Pereira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Fontes's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Romário Alcântara had several of the Brasilia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Jefferson Santos as he didn't even see the shot coming. Umberto Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jefferson Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Brasilia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Glauco Donato's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Jefferson Santos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Yuri Macedo's late challenge caught a Pajeuzinho EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yuri Macedo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brasilia getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Yuri Macedo hit a great ball. Jefferson Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glauco Donato in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Brasilia's Betinho Sampaio got a free kick in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the game, one of Brasilia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Brasilia:s Jefferson Santos showed great skill when he stopped Didi Moraes:s penalty. Diguinho Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pajeuzinho EC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
