The audience was convinced that Manuel Leão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juvenal Soares was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Feirinha's Juvenal Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Paulista in the 21st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Válbson Paulista put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Juvenal Soares. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laerte Britto to make the kick off. Válbson Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juvenal Soares made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Válbson Paulista sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Feirinha's Juvenal Soares got control of the ball when Válbson Paulista tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Feirinha's goalkeeper Juvenal Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson Paulista. Juvenal Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Leão in the 90th minute of play. Juvenal Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Manuel Leão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juvenal Soares.
