A collision led to Mavedeve getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kléberson da Costa hit a great ball. Paulo José Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Pirani having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Kauã dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Geraldo Pirani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulo José Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Carlos Fernando Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was a well-played corner which Edinho Castro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 40th minute, Paulo José Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geraldo Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of EC Guará - FPEMZ booed when Mavedeve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Fernando Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Liudas Rekašius sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mavedeve's Geraldo Pirani didn't even have to move. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kauã dos Santos made a kick off. Mavedeve's Geraldo Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã dos Santos in the 52nd minute of play. Paulo José Xavier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geraldo Pirani having to make a save. When EC Guará - FPEMZ's Kauã dos Santos in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Geraldo Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo José Xavier in the 65th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Cido Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Liudas Rekašius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Kauã dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. EC Guará - FPEMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Kauã dos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geraldo Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauã dos Santos in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geraldo Pirani saved Mavedeve from getting behind. There was no doubt that EC Guará - FPEMZ were the better team. EC Guará - FPEMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
