Remo Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho Melo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veli Cevher in the 18th minute of play forced Braga FC's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabiano Pimenta's late challenge caught a G.A.Jeromina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Braga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Remo Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juninho Carioca hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Remo Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaldo Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juninho Carioca scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nurullah Aslan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute Fabiano Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nurullah Aslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldinho Melo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Veli Cevher showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Braga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Leão to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Braga FC's zone, Veli Cevher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldinho Melo came out of the goal and Veli Cevher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remo Dracena struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ronaldinho Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G.A.Jeromina. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ian Botelho to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Remo Dracena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veli Cevher took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldinho Melo. Ronaldinho Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 57 played minutes G.A.Jeromina got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Baiano. G.A.Jeromina's Nurullah Aslan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save G.A.Jeromina from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the match, Braga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Veli Cevher came free, but Ronaldinho Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remo Dracena struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ronaldinho Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G.A.Jeromina. Ronaldinho Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veli Cevher in the 63rd minute of the match. Zé Paulo Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho Melo having to interfere. Nurullah Aslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Botelho in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Reinaldo Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. G.A.Jeromina's supporters rose to their feet, but Reinaldo Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldinho Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Remo Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorival Messias hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Reinaldo Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho Melo having to interfere.
