Vânderson Mendonça was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudinho Neves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. After 11 minutes, Gilvan Paraense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpha Stark and the Jessa F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Alpha Stark getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gilvan Paraense hit a great ball. If José Augusto Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Augusto Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Paraíba having to interfere. In the 21st minute Túlio Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alpha Stark's goalkeeper Vânderson Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Claudinho Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jessa F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vânderson Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Valdomiro Torres notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Alpha Stark's Vânderson Mendonça. Vânderson Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Augusto Borges's late challenge caught a Jessa F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Augusto Borges helped the player get up and apologised. José Augusto Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Túlio Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gualter Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Valdomiro Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jessa F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdomiro Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alpha Stark's goalkeeper Vânderson Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th minute, one of Alpha Stark:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alpha Stark. Valdomiro Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vânderson Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Alpha Stark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Braga to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Jessa F.C's Júlio Leão broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Túlio Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpha Stark's supporters rose to their feet, but Túlio Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualter Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Aníbal Fantini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jessa F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alpha Stark the free kick. After 90 played minutes Jessa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Fantini. Gualter Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Augusto Borges's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Túlio Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpha Stark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdomiro Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson Mendonça having to interfere. Jessa F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alpha Stark for a fine match.
