An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Neves in the 17th minute of play forced Abaitinga FC's goalkeeper Kajetan Gmoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdomiro Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Gmoch having to interfere. Claudinho Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Abaitinga FC's Geovani Lira got a free kick in the 24th minute. Kajetan Gmoch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Torres in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Abaitinga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Neves came free, but Kajetan Gmoch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kajetan Gmoch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jessa F.C's Gualter Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Mello in the 34th minute of play. Claudinho Neves took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kajetan Gmoch. Kajetan Gmoch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jessa F.C's Gualter Paraíba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Jessa F.C from getting a goal against them. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudinho Neves to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ulisses Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abaitinga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulisses Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualter Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abaitinga FC's Ulisses Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramiro das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gualter Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abaitinga FC's Ulisses Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdomiro Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Abaitinga FC's Geovani Lira got a free kick in the 78th minute. Geovani Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Paraíba having to interfere. Ramiro das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 played minutes Jessa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Bastos. 90 minutes into the match, Abaitinga FC's Geovani Lira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualter Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ramiro das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jessa F.C were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Abaitinga FC's much stronger midfield.
