Tony Lucas started the match with the kick off. Ronaldinho Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ancari AD booed when Braga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armandinho Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, one of Braga FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 9 minutes of play, Ancari AD's Bruninho Goiano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldinho Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tony Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ronaldinho Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Wesley Gaúcho managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Braga FC's Fabiano Pimenta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Armandinho Leão's late challenge caught a Ancari AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armandinho Leão helped the player get up and apologised. Armandinho Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ancari AD's Bruninho Goiano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Braga FC. When Ancari AD's Nildo Terra in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Braga FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Nildo Terra came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Ancari AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nildo Terra couldn't finish the play. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Braga FC! In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Ancari AD. Bruninho Goiano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ronaldinho Melo. 0-2. Ronaldinho Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Tony Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ian Botelho made a kick off. Fabiano Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, Braga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. When Bruninho Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ancari AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruninho Goiano couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dedê Amaral during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ian Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Braga FC's Fabiano Pimenta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wesley Gaúcho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Braga FC's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Melo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ian Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Gaúcho having to interfere. Alfredo Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. A collision led to Ancari AD getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dedê Amaral hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes Ancari AD got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Amaral. 95 minutes into the match, Braga FC's Ian Botelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wesley Gaúcho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ancari AD's Nildo Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ancari AD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
