Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudinho Neves started the match with the kick off. Júlio Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Valdomiro Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualter Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Mendonça in the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Jessa F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Bastos to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Valdomiro Torres notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chuva de Fogo's Geovanni Monteiro. Geovanni Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute Claudinho Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Urbano hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Geovanni Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes Chuva de Fogo got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Mendonça. In the 37th match minute, Chuva de Fogo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Veiga to maneuver through the defense. The corner led to Jessa F.C's José Maria Cavalcante getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 43rd minute, Claudinho Neves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geovanni Monteiro. The goal made the score 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Valladares made a kick off. When Júlio Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jessa F.C's protests and gave Júlio Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chuva de Fogo booed when Jessa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugênio Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. A hard shot 58 in the game by Geovanni Mendonça from a close distance when the talented Gualter Paraíba managed to make a qualified save. Jessa F.C's players were relieved. Claudinho Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Geovanni Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paulo Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Geovanni Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chuva de Fogo's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovanni Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualter Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Paulo Valladares took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Gualter Paraíba to make any attempt to save it. When Claudinho Neves came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Jessa F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Neves couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the game, Jessa F.C's Claudinho Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovanni Monteiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 94 minutes into the match, Chuva de Fogo's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Neves came free, but Geovanni Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernani Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Valdomiro Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jessa F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdomiro Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jessa F.C had won after a very even match.
