Tiradentes
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudinho Neves started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Tiradentes's Carlos Alvarenga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualter Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rogério Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinho Neves's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Christian Lima's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gualter Paraíba firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Christian Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogério Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiradentes's Christian Lima slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gualter Paraíba. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Valdomiro Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Perez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Carlos Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiradentes's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualter Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Carlos Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualter Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Christian Lima sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 35 minutes, Carlos Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiradentes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiradentes's Christian Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Jessa F.C's zone, Carlos Alvarenga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualter Paraíba came out of the goal and Carlos Alvarenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, Valdomiro Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alvarenga in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualter Paraíba saved Jessa F.C from getting behind. In the last second Rogério Perez throw himself and got hold of the ball when Claudinho Neves in the 72ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alvarenga in the 74th minute of play forced Jessa F.C's goalkeeper Gualter Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th match minute, Tiradentes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Rogério Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Neves in the 80th minute of play. Carlos Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Paraíba having to interfere. Gualter Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oséas Favoretto's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Gualter Paraíba came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Tiradentes's Christian Lima. But to his dismay, Christian Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 92ndth minute of the game Claudinho Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiradentes's Rogério Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes in the game, Carlos Alvarenga dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Tiradentes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
