Spectators: 7245 (Terracing: 5435, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ian Botelho kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Theresinenses FC's Dalmo Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldinho Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11thth minute of the game Ian Botelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Theresinenses FC's Agostinho Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute, one of Theresinenses FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Theresinenses FC. The referee gave Braga FC a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Túlio Santos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Theresinenses FC's Agostinho Mazza. 1-0. If Ian Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Theresinenses FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Bruno Moreira hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Braga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Araújo came free, but Ronaldinho Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rafa Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldinho Melo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, Braga FC's Fabiano Pimenta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agostinho Mazza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Rafa Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldinho Melo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmo Salles was the one to do the kick off. Braga FC's Ronaldinho Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Salles in the 56th minute of play. When Rafa Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Theresinenses FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafa Mendes couldn't finish the play. Agostinho Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agostinho Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Botelho in the 68th minute of the match. Dalmo Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agostinho Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Botelho in the 75th minute of play. Dalmo Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Braga FC booed when Theresinenses FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Agostinho Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theresinenses FC's Agostinho Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Botelho in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Pimenta in the 89th minute of play forced Theresinenses FC's goalkeeper Agostinho Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabiano Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Agostinho Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
