Ancari AD's Wesley Gaúcho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Ancari AD from getting a goal against them. After 15 minutes, Veli Cevher made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ancari AD's Wesley Gaúcho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benedito Guedes's late challenge caught a G.A.Jeromina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedito Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Benedito Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, G.A.Jeromina's Vânderson Vieira got a free kick in the 21st minute. Remo Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Veli Cevher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Remo Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, G.A.Jeromina's Remo Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wesley Gaúcho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Veli Cevher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Gaúcho having to interfere. A hard shot 34 in the game by Veli Cevher from a close distance when the talented Wesley Gaúcho managed to make a qualified save. Ancari AD's players were relieved. Wesley Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vânderson Vieira in the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Veli Cevher managed to get in a good position for a shot. G.A.Jeromina's supporters rose to their feet, but Veli Cevher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wesley Gaúcho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the game, Bruninho Goiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ancari AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G.A.Jeromina the free kick. Bruninho Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When Kaká Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ancari AD's protests and gave Kaká Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Ancari AD got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Paraibano. When Reinaldo Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the G.A.Jeromina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo Sergipano couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Veli Cevher to make the kick off. G.A.Jeromina's Veli Cevher got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the game, G.A.Jeromina's Reinaldo Sergipano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wesley Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Veli Cevher scored 4-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wesley Gaúcho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ancari AD's Wesley Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo Dracena in the 60th minute of play. Vânderson Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veli Cevher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Gaúcho having to interfere. In the 65th minute Remo Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Veli Cevher made a precise shot to the right of Wesley Gaúcho. Ancari AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Veli Cevher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Gaúcho having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Ancari AD got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Terra. After a defensive mix-up in Ancari AD's zone, Veli Cevher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Gaúcho came out of the goal and Veli Cevher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Veli Cevher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ancari AD's Wesley Gaúcho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Reinaldo Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaldo Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Remo Dracena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 played minutes Ancari AD got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Goiano. Tony Lucas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Ancari AD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 95th minute, G.A.Jeromina's Norberto Tróia seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Norberto Tróia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of G.A.Jeromina protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Norberto Tróia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 95 minutes into the game, one of G.A.Jeromina:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
