Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Tostão Cabral hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Bonecu SS's Edmílson Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Motta in the 58th minute of play. Edmílson Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Rubinho Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Ho having to interfere. Edmílson Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Augusto Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Edmílson Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Motta took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmílson Damião. Edmílson Damião dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After having played for 94 minutes, João Augusto Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Matismo AT's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Augusto Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real Matismo AT had played much better football throughout.
