In the 14th minute Jean Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, João Augusto Terra fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Motta in the 18th minute of play forced Assungui EC's goalkeeper Maicon Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 minutes of play, Assungui EC's Agnaldo Melo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Ho was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Augusto Terra struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Maicon Jacinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Matismo AT. 37 minutes into the match, Jean Motta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maicon Jacinto, 1-2. Remo Pinheiro hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Agnaldo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Edmundo Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maicon Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Adriano Velloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Assungui EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Matismo AT the free kick. A collision led to Assungui EC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Adriano Velloso hit a great ball. The Real Matismo AT players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Assungui EC were winning 1-2.
