Filipe Neves was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 62 minutes, Guaimim FC's Valdomiro Pimenta got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Joel Ho. The crowd rose to their feet as Geovani Mendes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joel Ho. That made the score 1-2 in the 73 minute of play. Luís Paulo Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remo Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Real Matismo AT's much stronger midfield.
