Genílson Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malicia's Breno de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Peres in the 14th minute of play. Luiz Fernando Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Breno de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Leonardo Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Céu Azul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Breno de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto de Moraes in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Atlético Céu Azul's Zé Augusto de Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breno de Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonardo Peres succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Leonardo Peres might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Breno de Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Peres ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonardo Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Malicia's zone, Zé Augusto de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno de Toledo came out of the goal and Zé Augusto de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Augusto de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Breno de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Peres scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Breno de Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 57th minute Zé Augusto de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nando Novaes fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malicia's protests and gave Nando Novaes a yellow card for diving instead. Nando Novaes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Peres got free with Breno de Toledo in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Zé Augusto de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malicia's Breno de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Malicia from getting a goal against them. Nando Novaes hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Breno de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Atlético Céu Azul's Luiz Fernando Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Augusto de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malicia's Breno de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Malicia from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Zé Augusto de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Céu Azul's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Augusto de Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breno de Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno de Toledo having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Atlético Céu Azul left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Malicia.
