Galo 1908's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 10 minutes in the game, Váldson Esteves fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dito Vergílio having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Vinhas in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrinho Secco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Reginaldo Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PAMONHA FC's Reginaldo Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Manuel Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Secco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Galo 1908's zone, Manuel Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Secco came out of the goal and Manuel Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Manuel Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galo 1908's Pedrinho Secco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Vinhas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedrinho Secco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Vítor Furlan was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, PAMONHA FC's Severino Romero got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the Galo 1908 defense, Reginaldo Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedrinho Secco. The Galo 1908 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedrinho Secco should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Manuel Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dito Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Furlan in the 67th minute of the match. Reginaldo Arce received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedrinho Secco came out and tried to block the shot, but Reginaldo Arce slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 70th minute. When Marcelinho Vides fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PAMONHA FC's protests and gave Marcelinho Vides a yellow card for diving instead. Marcelinho Vides hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The supporters of Galo 1908 booed when PAMONHA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Galo 1908's Cléberson Andrade broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that João Vítor Furlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dito Vergílio was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After 80 played minutes Galo 1908 got a freekick which was hit by Váldson Esteves. After having played for 84 minutes, Reginaldo Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAMONHA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reginaldo Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Hoffmann hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Reginaldo Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Pedrinho Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Vinhas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedrinho Secco came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Vinhas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 89th minute. When Edvaldo Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the PAMONHA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvaldo Mineiro couldn't finish the play. After 97 played minutes Galo 1908 got a freekick which was hit by Váldson Esteves. In the 98th minute, Severino Romero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Galo 1908's Pedrinho Secco didn't even have to move. When the final whistle sounded PAMONHA FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Galo 1908.
