PAMONHA FC's Dito Vergílio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save PAMONHA FC from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Reginaldo Arce sped through Santos Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisinho Urbano. If Hermínio Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Futebol Clube's Guto Brodel got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Guto Brodel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dito Vergílio. PAMONHA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guto Brodel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 64 minutes into the game, Santos Futebol Clube's Guto Brodel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dito Vergílio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 68th minute, Guto Brodel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermínio Rossi struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Santos Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Guto Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dito Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 minutes, Dráusio Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos Futebol Clube and the PAMONHA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, PAMONHA FC's Severino Romero got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luisinho Urbano. After a rather tough play, Santos Futebol Clube's Ademar Simões got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Severino Romero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Santos Futebol Clube's Luisinho Urbano didn't even have to move. Reginaldo Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
