With his leg Doni Correia managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Tsubaza's Horácio Hermes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Parisi's Raí Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute Horácio Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes, Nico Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parisi and the Tsubaza players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Parisi got a freekick which was hit by Nico Simões. In the 11th of the match, Horácio Hermes tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Doni Correia got in the way and made a wonderful save. Frédson Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Frédson Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sílvio Luís Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Luís Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tsubaza's Sílvio Luís Correia got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Eliézer Pombal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Souza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Horácio Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horácio Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Doni Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Frédson Novaes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Doni Correia. The goal made the score 1-0. Tsubaza's Rogério Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Felippe Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Eusébio Paes in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tsubaza's Rogério Arruda. Parisi's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Horácio Hermes 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Horácio Hermes might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doni Correia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horácio Hermes ran back to his position shaking his head. Doni Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horácio Hermes in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horácio Hermes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Horácio Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artur Meirelles hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Horácio Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tsubaza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horácio Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Horácio Hermes came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Tsubaza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Hermes couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the game, Horácio Hermes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Doni Correia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rogério Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Correia having to interfere. In the 72nd minute of the match Nico Britto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doni Correia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Horácio Hermes put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Doni Correia. Doni Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédson Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernani Santana hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Frédson Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Horácio Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Parisi's zone, Leonardo Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Correia came out of the goal and Leonardo Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Frédson Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tsubaza's supporters rose to their feet, but Frédson Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tsubaza had played much better football throughout.
