After 39 minutes, Jonathan Hoffmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galo 1908 and the BENAGRAF CARTUCHOS F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Jonathan Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th match minute, Galo 1908 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaká Veloso made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, BENAGRAF CARTUCHOS F.C.'s Amauri Camargo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedrinho Secco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Kaká Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute.
