After 23 played minutes, Moleira Real's Giovani Pombal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vivaldo Queiroz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Moleira Real reached it. Ademir Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Vivaldo Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Furlan in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, S.E Cachoeira Alegre's goalkeeper Vivaldo Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovani Pombal. When Almir Furlan came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the S.E Cachoeira Alegre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Almir Furlan couldn't finish the play. If Almir Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Almir Furlan to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Felippe Miranda notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of S.E Cachoeira Alegre's Vivaldo Queiroz. Vivaldo Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moleira Real's Felippe Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vivaldo Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Furlan in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, José Carlos Furlan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vivaldo Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Vivaldo Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Carlos Furlan went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Falcão Tavares hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani Pombal in the 80th minute of play forced S.E Cachoeira Alegre's goalkeeper Vivaldo Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paulo Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Aloísio Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Gabriel Nascimento made a huge save. S.E Cachoeira Alegre's Vivaldo Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Carlos Furlan in the 86th minute of play. João Paulo Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. If Felippe Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
