In the 19th minute Lúcio Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vivaldo Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Alcântara in the 20th minute of the match. Geraldo Veloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Almir Furlan in the 23rd minute. Conrado Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Flávio Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Trevo F.C's Geraldo Veloso got control of the ball when Sandro Zanette tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vivaldo Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Toledo in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Trevo F.C's zone, Almir Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Veloso came out of the goal and Almir Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, S.E Cachoeira Alegre's Haroldo Matorin got a free kick in the 45th minute. Vivaldo Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vivaldo Queiroz came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Trevo F.C's Lúcio Alcântara. But to his dismay, Lúcio Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Zanette stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Almir Furlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E Cachoeira Alegre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 58th match minute, S.E Cachoeira Alegre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, S.E Cachoeira Alegre's Vivaldo Queiroz got control of the ball when Lúcio Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vivaldo Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Lúcio Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, one of Trevo F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trevo F.C. Sandro Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sandro Zanette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geraldo Veloso was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Almir Furlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rdth minute of the game Almir Furlan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trevo F.C's Geraldo Veloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot by Armandinho de Carvalho from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Vivaldo Queiroz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandro Zanette in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geraldo Veloso saved Trevo F.C from getting behind. Sandro Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Geraldo Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geraldo Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Furlan in the 93rd minute of play. Lúcio Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Queiroz having to interfere. S.E Cachoeira Alegre succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Trevo F.C had controlled the match.
