Oscar Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Pedro Simões's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Renatinho Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Emanuel Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If José Pedro Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, José Pedro Simões cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Oscar Lira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the game, Renatinho Zonta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Emanuel Xavier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Charlie Bravo FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renatinho Zonta was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute José Pedro Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Veneciano's goalkeeper Oscar Lira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrianinho Vinhas's late challenge caught a Charlie Bravo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrianinho Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Veneciano! 73 minutes into the game, Gil Carneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Veneciano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charlie Bravo FC the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Gil Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Veneciano's Oscar Lira got control of the ball when Enio Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pedro Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Renatinho Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Veneciano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Cosme to maneuver through the defense. José Pedro Simões's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Lira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Enio Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Charlie Bravo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
