After 3 minutes, Caio Vasconcelos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FalindoPorCausaDoMz and the Veneciano players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Veneciano booed when FalindoPorCausaDoMz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan de Moraes in the 5th minute of the match. Joaquim Faria was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Joaquim Faria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Lira having to make a save. Oscar Lira made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Joaquim Faria sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Alan de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. FalindoPorCausaDoMz's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan de Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Lira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquim Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Lira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Veneciano's zone, Alan de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Lira came out of the goal and Alan de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juarês Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Marquez having to interfere. Oscar Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan de Moraes in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FalindoPorCausaDoMz's zone, Renatinho Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erivaldo Marquez came out of the goal and Renatinho Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Oscar Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Lira having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alan de Moraes in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Lira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Veneciano's Oscar Lira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Veneciano from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute Caio Vasconcelos suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Gil Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Veneciano's protests and gave Gil Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renatinho Zonta was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, FalindoPorCausaDoMz's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Zonta came free, but Erivaldo Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabinho Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabinho Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oscar Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Faria in the 65th minute of the match. Joaquim Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Joaquim Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alan de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FalindoPorCausaDoMz were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Veneciano to leave the ground with a draw.
