Raphael de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Wilian Rosado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jarbas Dias, passed just outside the right post. After 11 played minutes Hawks got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Barral. Jarbas Dias was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bernardo Carneiro. Wilian Rosado succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 30th minute, Zé Roberto Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clóvis Pombal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dário Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dário Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Cilandia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Rosa to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Raphael de Sousa notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cilandia SC's Clóvis Pombal. Clóvis Pombal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gernando Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jarbas Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilian Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Dias having to interfere. Jarbas Dias acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bernardo Carneiro. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilian Rosado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Gernando Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cilandia SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Damião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Damião in the 54th minute of play forced Hawks's goalkeeper Jarbas Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jarbas Barral fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hawks's protests and gave Jarbas Barral a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Jarbas Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58thth minute of the game Wilian Rosado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hawks's Jarbas Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute Gernando Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson de Amorim in the 67th minute of play forced Hawks's goalkeeper Jarbas Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Bernardo Carneiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jarbas Dias skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilian Rosado in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarbas Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gernando Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hawks's goalkeeper Jarbas Dias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giovanni Dracena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wilian Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Wilian Rosado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarbas Dias was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Cilandia SC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Hawks to leave the ground with a draw.
