After a defensive mix-up in Stonehenge FC's zone, Sérgio Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Marques came out of the goal and Sérgio Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Sérgio Romero made a precise shot to the right of Chico Marques. Stonehenge FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ezequiel Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mateus Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Stonehenge FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Luz came free, but Chico Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Detronados's Percival Lopez in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stonehenge FC's goalie prevented a goal. Chico Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Luz took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chico Marques. Chico Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 28 minutes, Enéas Paiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stonehenge FC and the Detronados players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Stonehenge FC got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Paiva. A collision led to Stonehenge FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Enéas Paiva hit a great ball. If Cipriano Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Detronados's Sérgio Romero got a free kick in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Meira got free with Mateus Moraes in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Egídio Guimarães's late challenge caught a Stonehenge FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egídio Guimarães helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Detronados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Luisinho Castro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateus Moraes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cipriano Fantini took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chico Marques. Chico Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Mateus Moraes made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Geraldo de Amaral sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Fantini was the one to do the kick off. Detronados's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cipriano Fantini in the 53rd minute. Cássio Pimenta made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Detronados's Roger Luz. Roger Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Marques having to interfere. A collision led to Stonehenge FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Geraldo de Amaral hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Stonehenge FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Luz came free, but Chico Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateus Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Aparecido in the 63rd minute of play forced Detronados's goalkeeper Mateus Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Fantini struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Chico Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Detronados. Chico Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Fantini's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Sérgio Romeros short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Chico Marques to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 71 minutes into the game, one of Detronados:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luisinho Castro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 76 minutes into the match, Edvaldo Fantini dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chico Marques, 0-4. In the 79th match minute, Stonehenge FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Tavares to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, Percival Lopez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chico Marques. Percival Lopez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Stonehenge FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cipriano Fantini 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. A collision led to Stonehenge FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Dênis Tavares hit a great ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sérgio Romero came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Detronados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Romero couldn't finish the play. Roger Luz might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chico Marques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roger Luz ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Detronados booed when Stonehenge FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Stonehenge FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Detronados were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
