Luisinho Castro, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ezequiel Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Cipriano Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chico Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ricardo Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Ezequiel Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stonehenge FC's Ezequiel Aparecido got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cipriano Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Stonehenge FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Ferraz came free, but Chico Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Meira hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ricardo Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Chico Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Cavalcante having to interfere. Tião Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Chico Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BARCELONA FC.

Cipriano Cavalcante was a little too slow when Ezequiel Aparecido got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-1. BARCELONA FC's Cipriano Cavalcante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save BARCELONA FC from getting a goal against them. Tião Ferraz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chico Marques having to make a save. When Ricardo Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the BARCELONA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Guimarães couldn't finish the play. Stonehenge FC's Chico Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Guimarães in the 91st minute of play. If Tião Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Cavalcante having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
