Neurônios EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OldSkull United the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Neurônios EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes Neurônios EC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Arósio. Marquinhos Donato charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marquinhos Donato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Marcus Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Téo Abraão came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by OldSkull United's Marquinhos Donato. But to his dismay, Marquinhos Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 34 played minutes OldSkull United got a freekick which was hit by Victor Braga. In the 39th minute, Sebastião Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marquinhos Donato struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Téo Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OldSkull United. If Marcus Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Gonçalves in the 46th minute of play forced Neurônios EC's goalkeeper Téo Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Marcus Gonçalves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Téo Abraão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Cauan Pimenta made the kick off in the second half. Marcus Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Téo Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquinhos Donato in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Téo Abraão, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marquinhos Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Téo Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquinhos Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Neurônios EC's Wilton Duarte got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Marcus Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neurônios EC's Téo Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Gonçalves in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Marquinhos Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. OldSkull United's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Téo Abraão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastião Arósio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Téo Abraão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marquinhos Donato went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Sebastião Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Armando Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. OldSkull United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
