Elder Félix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Detronados. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Fantini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elder Félix was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Mateus Moraes came out and tried to block the shot, but Alan Neto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 32nd minute. Cipriano Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Sérgio Romero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Elder Félix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Roger Luz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elder Félix. Brusque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Luz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. If Roger Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Elder Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Sérgio Romero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elder Félix. That made the score 1-5 in the 52 minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Detronados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Romero struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Elder Félix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Detronados. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jano Valle during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Brusque getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jano Valle hit a great ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Percival Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Detronados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percival Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Brusque's Elder Félix got control of the ball when Geraldo Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Detronados's Roger Luz in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brusque's goalie prevented a goal. Cipriano Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Félix having to interfere. Mateus Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 81 played minutes Brusque got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Mattos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Fantini in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elder Félix saved Brusque from getting behind. Sérgio Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Félix having to interfere. Mateus Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Mattos in the 89th minute of the match. Sérgio Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Elder Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Brusque's zone, Sérgio Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elder Félix came out of the goal and Sérgio Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Brusque's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Fantini came free, but Elder Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Detronados left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Brusque.
