Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Waldemar Breckenfeld was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes had been played. The supporters of Santos FC booed when BARCELONA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute, Jeferson Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The BARCELONA FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Santos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Santos FC.
