After 20 played minutes, Saiterovisk Soccer Club's Naldo Vianna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Délio Vieira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saiterovisk Soccer Club reached it. In the 22nd minute, SC Corinthians Paulista's Ismael Paiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tadeu Ribeiro. Tadeu Ribeiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaltino Palmeira got free with Tadeu Ribeiro in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Saiterovisk Soccer Club's zone, Ismael Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeu Ribeiro came out of the goal and Ismael Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When SC Corinthians Paulista's Ismael Paiva in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Saiterovisk Soccer Club's Tadeu Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Paiva in the 37th minute of play. If Isaltino Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SC Corinthians Paulista's Ismael Paiva in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Saiterovisk Soccer Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gildo Varela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Ismael Paiva put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tadeu Ribeiro.
