Spectators: 7191 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carlinhos Ramos made the kick off which started today's match. When Arnaldo de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Hugos Arts Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo de Godoi couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute Hugo Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes of play, Estrema's Oséas Vasconcelos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrianinho Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oséas Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Adrianinho Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrianinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Neiva in the 14th minute of play. Oséas Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Vander having to interfere. Arnaldo de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Carlinhos Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlinhos Ramos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aloísio de Godoi. That made the score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Hugo Neiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Adrianinho Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Estrema defense, Zé Paulo Campidelis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aloísio de Godoi. The Estrema fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aloísio de Godoi should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute, Hugos Arts Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oséas Vasconcelos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 56th minute, Oséas Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aloísio de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Ramos in the 59th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Estrema's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo de Godoi came free, but Aloísio de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Estrema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Carlinhos Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aloísio de Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlinhos Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75thth minute of the game Carlinhos Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrema's Aloísio de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugos Arts Club's Arnaldo de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 81 minutes, Arnaldo de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hugos Arts Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Neiva in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrianinho Vander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oséas Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Vander having to interfere. Adrianinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Neiva in the 88th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Hugos Arts Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Hugos Arts Club were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Estrema to leave the ground with a draw.
