When Tucune FC's Reynaldo Vander in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borussia Dortmund's goalie prevented a goal. When Fred Machado came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Borussia Dortmund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Machado couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Vander in the 23rd minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Pedro Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Osvaldinho Vaz sped through Borussia Dortmund's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Campidelis. In the 29th minute, Reynaldo Vander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Reynaldo Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Osvaldinho Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tucune FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldinho Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Campidelis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gildo Coutinho was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Agostinho Couto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agostinho Couto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agostinho Couto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Campidelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Vander's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. A collision led to Tucune FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Beto Maranhense hit a great ball. Borussia Dortmund's Robinho Mello couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tucune FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Vander in the 63rd minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Pedro Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borussia Dortmund's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Reynaldo Vander scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Campidelis, making the score, 1-3. Reynaldo Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Pedro Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldinho Vaz struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Pedro Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tucune FC. Osvaldinho Vaz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 89th playminute. Osvaldinho Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Pedro Campidelis made a huge save.
