Ismael Paiva scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fellipe Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Paiva in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fellipe Lopes saved WBYRNE from getting behind. After 45 minutes of play, SC Corinthians Paulista's Ismael Paiva made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fellipe Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jânio Sergipano to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, WBYRNE's Fellipe Lopes got control of the ball when Ismael Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Zé Augusto Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to WBYRNE getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Luís da Rocha hit a great ball. WBYRNE's Fellipe Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildo Varela in the 62nd minute of play. Ismael Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fellipe Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of WBYRNE booed when SC Corinthians Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Délio Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme Gomes in the 91st minute of the match. Percy Peres hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Gildo Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The WBYRNE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Corinthians Paulista were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
