The referee showed David Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of S.E.R. LAÍNI booed when ASA de Arapiraca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 93rd minute Tales de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Geovânio Aparecido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ASA de Arapiraca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
