In the 20th minute, Enéas Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Durvalino de Medeiros got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Oséias Mangueira hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Oséias Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Valadares having to interfere. With his leg Umberto Cunha managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Marionopolis SS's Ricardinho Vidal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Durvalino de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Umberto Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Alquimista FPA STAND BY getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Carlos Alberto Donato hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Geovani Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alquimista FPA STAND BY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Durvalino de Medeiros ran over to the corner to take the kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Durvalino de Medeiros made a kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Durvalino de Medeiros succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durvalino de Medeiros in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erivaldo Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite being the better team, Marionopolis SS failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
