César Castro took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro da Costa. Ramiro da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 9 played minutes LocoPub FC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Caitano. Stefanos Sioufas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramón Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, César Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LocoPub FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luizão Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, César Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ramiro da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nilson Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nilson Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to LocoPub FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nilson Faria hit a great ball. Stefanos Sioufas made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Marco Breckenfeld sent off a good shot on target. Edmílson Albuquerque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro da Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. LocoPub FC's Stefanos Sioufas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Alagoano in the 32nd minute of play. Edmílson Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ramiro da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. César Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro da Costa having to interfere. After the first half LocoPub FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Vladimir Munhoz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. César Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. César Castro took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro da Costa. Ramiro da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Mazinho Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of LocoPub FC booed when Itaubal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro da Costa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luizão Linhares. A collision led to LocoPub FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Amancio Caitano hit a great ball. Ramiro da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmílson Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, César Castro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ramiro da Costa. The goal made the score 0-4. Ramón Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Stefanos Sioufas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaubal.
