In the 11th minute, Allan Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dário Rezende charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dário Rezende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dário Rezende hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Stefanos Sioufas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Salles in the 22nd minute of play forced LocoPub FC's goalkeeper Stefanos Sioufas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmílson Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Luizão Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the LocoPub FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizão Linhares couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Fenix FC's goal looked a bit too open when César Castro came free, but Bernardo Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizão Linhares struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Bernardo Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LocoPub FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. César Castro was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, César Castro made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Lara. Fenix FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Amancio Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Castro scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fenix FC's Bernardo Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Castro in the 70th minute of play. Wilson Ribeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stefanos Sioufas. LocoPub FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bernardo Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Sioufas having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Fenix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Amancio Caitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Lara having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the match Pedro Augusto Barral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Lara skillfully saved the ball.
