Anapolense's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Dionísio came free, but Osvaldinho Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldinho Cearense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodolfo Dionísio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Rodolfo Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C. Anapolense's Osvaldinho Cearense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Marionopolis SS booed when E.C. Anapolense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardinho Vidal, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Osvaldinho Cearense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Dionísio went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, E.C. Anapolense's Robinho Falcão got a free kick in the 90th minute. Osvaldinho Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Dionísio in the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Erivaldo Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marionopolis SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erivaldo Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Dionísio in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldinho Cearense saved E.C. Anapolense from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Marionopolis SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
